Speech, hearing and language professionals have the privilege of helping people to communicate with others. Human sciences professionals have a desire to improve people's quality of life. This interdisciplinary double degree is ideal for those who wish to develop a substantial skillset in both speech, hearing and general linguistics in preparation for a career in the community and allied health sectors. You'll learn how human communication works from both technical and sociocultural perspectives, and about the impact of speech, language and hearing disorders on individuals throughout their lifetime. You'll also develop your knowledge of the science of being human, giving you a unique set of skills with which to enter the growing health sector.

Study Pathways:

Master of Speech and Language Pathology at the completion of their undergraduate degree are required to have completed eight pre-requisite subjects which can be selected within this degree. Students thinking about a research career can apply for the Master of Research.
