The Bachelor of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science double degree is flexible with a strong focus on practical learning providing students the opportunity to broaden the scope of their technical studies in a specific area of science and have that breadth recognised in their degree.

Year 12 or equivalent; Assumed knowledge: HSC Mathematics (Band 4) or its equivalent for first year Engineering, Mathematics and Physics units; Recommended: Higher levels of HSC Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry, Engineering Studies, Senior Science, Information Processes and Technology and/or Software Design and Development or their equivalents.


120 credit points; minimum 75 credit points at 200 level or above; minimum 48 credit points at 300 level or above; minimum 18 credit points at 400 level or above; minimum 87 credit points designated engineering; minimum 39 credit points designated science; completion of a qualifying major within each degree
