With the opportunity for six months of real-world industry or research experience, students can expand their technical skills, develop first-hand understanding of a business environment and build their industry contacts.
Structure
The course requires the completion of 240 credit points over two years of full-time or equivalent part-time study. First year students will study core subjects of engineering and management and will select to undertake either a work integrated learning or advanced research integrated learning activity. Second year students will progress to studying further engineering core subjects to ensure a solid base of knowledge.

Standard entry requirements
A four-year Bachelor of Engineering degree or an Honours degree in science in an appropriate field, or an international equivalent. If students do not strictly meet this requirement, they may be considered for admission following successful completion of the Graduate Diploma in Electronic Engineering.
