Established in 2010, Guidestar Training & Professional Services (GTPS) is a Registered Training Organisation that offers courses in the community sector namely CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support, HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance, CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support and CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability. Based in Footscray, GTPS offers blended learning (online and face to face) by industry qualified and experienced trainers and assessors . GTPS provide weekday and evening classes as well as weekend classes. Simulation classes are encompassed within the course and helps to prepare students for work placement. Work placement is a crucial part of the course. This is where students can demonstrate the theoretical knowledge and practical skills gained in the industry.
