This program is designed to provide graduates in the Humanities, Languages and Social Science discipline with the opportunity to undertake advanced study in research methodology and to undertake supervised research work in the discipline area appropriate to their research trajectory.

Entry Requirements:

Undergraduate degree in a related discipline from a recognized University with a minimum grade point average of 5.0; or a Masters degree in a related discipline from a recognised University; or hold a masters degree in a related discipline; students will be required to find a suitable supervisor or supervisors and have their research project approved by the supervisor(s) and the Program Director

Study Pathways:

Students who have successfully completed the Graduate Diploma of Arts Research Studies (and have achieved a grade point average of 5.0 or higher with a grade of Credit or higher in the dissertation component) will be eligible for admission into the MPhil program. Students who have successfully completed the Graduate Diploma of Arts Research Studies (and have achieved a grade point average of 6.0 or higher with a grade of Distinction or higher in the dissertation component) will be eligible for admission into the PhD program.
