Bachelor of Architectural Design

Griffith University

This program will put students on the path to a career as an architect. It combines classroom studies, fieldwork and practical experience to help students learn about designing buildings, urban systems, public places, transport nodes, and recreation and conservation areas. Students will also develop their design and creative problem-solving skills, and learn how to create designs that meet aesthetic, functional and user needs - now and in the future. A focus on sustainable design in tropical and subtropical climates will prepare students for work in Australia and the Asia-Pacific. In the third year, students will complete a supervised industry-based design project.
