This degree aims to provide applicants who hold an approved bachelor degree in social work with advanced skills in areas of policy and research in clinical and community based practice settings.

Entry Requirements:

applicants must hold an approved four year bachelor Honours degree or equivalent qualification in the discipline of social work recognised by the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW); or hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in the discipline of social work recognised by the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW) and must also have a minimum of 2 years' full-time equivalent professional work experience (paid or volunteer) following the completion of this degree.

Structure:

This is a 36-unit pathway where students complete one core (compulsory) topic: Social Work Research in Practice Settings; and seven option topics chosen from a range of option topics available to further their knowledge in interest areas.
