The Graduate Diploma in Clinical Rehabilitation provides opportunities for health professionals from any field to deepen their knowledge base and skills in a variety of areas of clinical practice. Students gain an understanding of the relevant principles and practice then tailor their study to an area relevant to their workplace or field of interest.

Entry Requirements:

Applicants must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification and must have a minimum of two years' full-time equivalent post-degree experience in a relevant clinical discipline; or hold the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation from Flinders University or equivalent.

Structure:

The Graduate Diploma is a 36-unit program. Students complete two core (compulsory) topics and six option topics chosen from a range of option topics available. These topics aim to provide students the opportunity to review the principles and practice of clinical rehabilitation and apply these to contemporary practice, describe and distinguish the assessment and management of a range of conditions that present in the clinical rehabilitation setting and the ability to identify, critically analyse and apply evidence for rehabilitation approaches and techniques.

The course is also offered in Singapore, in partnership with the Postgraduate Allied Health Institute, Singapore General Hospital. The program in Singapore is offered part-time in intensive mode. Students are supported before and after intensives via online services.
