This combined course enables students to choose from a wide range of subjects in both commerce and science, gaining a unique skill-set ideal for careers in the business and management side of the science industry. The commerce stream covers areas such as accounting, economics, finance, management, management information systems and marketing. Combine this with a relevant science stream, which may include environmental science, natural history, chemistry and materials science, animal biology, plant biology, cell biology, human biology or mathematical modelling.

Entry Requirements:

Applicants should have successfully completed VCE or equivalent. Prerequisites are units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or 20 in English other than EAL. Those aged 21 or over on 1 January and who do not hold VCE or equivalent should apply under Alternative Admission; This category is open to those who do not satisfy normal entrance requirements, but can demonstrate relevant work or life experience

Structure:

32 credit points: 16 Commerce and 16 Science. The Science units include 16 course grouped units including 8 core units and at least one 6 credit point Science major sequence, 2 credit points of elective units plus completion of two zero credit point units (SLE010 and STP010). The commerce units include a core of 8 credit points and 1 major sequence of 8 credit points.
