In this combined courses, students will develop critical analysis skills to take data and turn it into strategies to drive business success. They will also learn how to interpret data and information and combine it with a strong foundation in all areas of business. Entry Requirements:

Applicants should have successfully completed VCE or equivalent. Prerequisites are units 3 and 4 a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or 20 in any other English. Those aged 21 or over on 1 January and who do not hold VCE or equivalent should apply under Alternative Admission; This category is open to those who do not satisfy normal entrance requirements, but can demonstrate relevant work or life experience


The combined course comprises 32 credit points of study. Students will undertake 16 credit points in the Bachelor of Commerce and 16 credit points in the Bachelor of Business Analytics. The 16 credit points from the Bachelor of Commerce includes 8 credit points of core units and an 8 credit point major sequence (excluding Management Information Systems). In addition students must complete a minimum of 4 credit points at level 3 which must be Faculty of Business and Law units course grouped to a Faculty of Business and Law undergraduate degree. The 16 credit points from the Bachelor of Business Analytics includes 15 credit points of core units (excluding MIS171) including one work integrated learning unit (WIL) or an approved international learning experience, a 1 credit point elective unit and a zero credit point academic induction unit.

Credit for prior learning may be offered to applicants who have successfully completed post-secondary studies.


Completion of the Bachelor of Business Analytics and associated double degree courses grants eligibility for entry as a professional member of the Australian Computer Society (ACS).
