The Bachelor of Agriculture was developed to provide students the cutting edge knowledge and skills required for employment in today's technology driven agribusiness, cropping and livestock industries. Students will benefit from practical based training that provides the basis for the application of theory in new and innovative practices. The Diploma in Agriculture is embedded in the first year of this course allowing students to learn with a strong focus on competency. Students will continue to apply their knowledge and skills through mandatory industry placements during the second and third year. In the third year students will be expected to produce a real world consulting project that addresses a client driven whole-of-system problem.

QTAC: English (4, SA); UAC: English (Standard, Band 2); VTAC: Units 3 and 4: a study score of a least 25 in any English. English language requirements apply.

Study Pathways:

Graduates from Queensland Agricultural Training Colleges (QATC) and Victoria's Rural Industries Skills Training (RIST) can apply for direct entry into the Bachelor of Agriculture.

Through this partnership students will benefit from project-based training on extensive crop, dairy, sheep, equine and beef production facilities.
