This program will give students the essential knowledge, skills and experiences required to embark on a career designing and producing content for film, TV, games, advertising, information/education and beyond. They will acquire broad and flexible hands-on skills in motion graphic design, digital video production, editing and post-production, sound design, concept design, preproduction planning, cinematography, compositing and visual effects. At the same time students will explore the theory and context of design, film, TV and animation to enrich creativity and storytelling, while working through briefs and creative processes used by industry. In final year students can apply for an internship in a professional motion design studio or production house, and get the chance to work on live project work for a real world client. They will also have the chance to compliment their studies by completing elective subjects in 3D Design and Animation, Interaction Design or Communication Design. Students can pick and mix elective subjects to further tailor the degree to their goals.
