This program is a highly flexible, three-year degree designed to present arts disciplines within a Christian world view and to help students understand society and their role in it. It gives the student opportunities to develop abilities in problem recognition and solving, research skills, analysis, synthesis and creativity, critical and reflective thinking, written and nonverbal communication. The degree provides broad preparation for future employment, as well as a sound basis for those wishing to pursue honours, graduate diplomas and other postgraduate degrees.

Entry Requirements:

Mathematics (Major/Minor): Recent HSC Mathematics Extension 1 (or equivalent), or recommendation from Avondale's Discipline of Science and Mathematics. Music (Major/Minor): Admission to the Music major is by interview, audition and placement tests. Applicants should normally have studied music for approximately six years, but with approval of the Music Strand Convenor may be admitted with other appropriate music experience.
