Advanced Diploma of Electrical - Engineering - UEE62211

Australia Institute of Business and Technology

Type of institution: Registered Training Organisation
Level: Pre-degree
CRICOS: 03430J

This qualification is part of the Electrotechnology Training Package. It is for those working in the field of electrical engineering as a technician. The course provides competencies to design and validate and evaluate electrical equipment and systems, manage risk, estimate and manage projects and provide technical advice and sales. It includes ERAC requirements for an electrician's licence. Learners who elect to complete subgroup 1 of the core competency standard units meet the NSW Office of Fair Trading licensing requirements for issuing a Qualified Supervisor's Certificate - Electrician. This permits the holder to work unsupervised on low voltage fixed wiring and equipment and to directly supervise others in this work.
